Asian Adobe offers an extensive inventory of 100- to 200-year-old Chinese furniture. The store specializes in Ming style furniture which is characterized by its functionality and clean, simple lines. The collection features unusual items such as medicine chests, beautiful red lacquer armoires, chests and trunks as well as altar tables, screens, and a variety of chairs and much more.
Owners Fidelia and Stuart Kirk regularly travel to China and hand select each and every piece that Asian Adobe sells. All of the furniture in the store was crafted by workers during the 1800s using beautiful woods including walnut, cypress and beech wood.
Accenting the furnishings are paintings by Beijing artist Ming Fu who paints classic Chinese scenes using a modern and colorful style.
